2013 Hesburgh Lecture Series
November 21, the lecture will be presented by Prof. Richard A. Williams, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Sociology, University of Notre Dame. The topic is Census 2010: Challenges and Controversies: This lecture explains why the census is so important to government and business, and why others nonetheless claim that the census exceeds its constitutional mandate, invades privacy, handles race and ethnicity improperly, and even promotes gay marriages.
Our Members will again be the guests of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis. Lecture at 5:30, followed by a cash bar and and optional dinner ($35). RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE ON OR BEFORE NOVEMBER 14. NO EXCEPTIONS

Immaculate Conception Mass and Dinner
The Notre Dame Club of Indianapolis invites you to celebrate Mass on Saturday, December 7, 2013 to celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Conception at Our Lady of Grace Monastery, 1701 Southern Avenue, Beech Grove, Indiana.
Sr. Harriet Woehler will provide a post Mass organ concert.
The speaker will be Kathryn Densborn. Providence Cristo Rey High School hired Kathryn Densborn as Vice President of Corporate Work Study in March 2012. The Corporate Work Study program at Providence Cristo Rey is unique among Indianapolis high schools and one of the hallmarks of the Cristo Rey Network approach to educating students that is essential to their success. As vice president, Densborn is responsible for maintaining existing corporate relationships, developing new work study partner relationships, and continuing to manage and grow the program in accordance with the school’s strategic plan. Kathryn brings a wealth of experience working with central Indiana businesses and is a deeply committed and passionate servant of Catholic education and Catholic initiatives; she has served the Archdiocese of Indianapolis on the North Deanery Board of Education and the St. Luke Catholic School Commission. Currently, she serves on the Legatus executive committee and St. Elizabeth/Coleman Pregnancy and Adoption Services Board of Directors. She is a former board member and sustaining member of the Junior League of Indianapolis and is a former director of Indy Festivals, Inc.
